Japanese Delight
Ive just got home from what was a fantastic night. I met up with Jack, a hair stylist I have worked with on only one shoot but immediately we hit it off. We have been meaning to go for dinner for a while. What I thought would be a casual get-together ended up at the restaurant I have been wanting to try for ages - Sumosan, one of Londons best Japanese. We arrived and were treated like favourites, turns out Jack and his partner Matthew are regulars and friends with the staff. A bottle of complimentary Rose champagne arrived followed by our food, my favourites being the Miso Black Cod, Lobster Salad and Salmon Sashimi. A bottle of Sake and Muscat later I was feeling very giggly intime for the chef to send us over three Watermelon martinis, a huge fruit plater and a chocolate fondant (to die for). I can barely move now but what a fantastic treat from Jack and Matt - Thank you boys, next time it is on me!!
Today I had a call from New Delhi TV, immediately I got all excited that they may want to fly me out there for some work, but sadly they just wanted to follow me around fashion week and interiew me, last thing I need is a camera focused on my arse so I turned them down …
Today, I also realised how old I am getting and how grown up I should probably start to act. I received a baby shower invite, a hens night invite and a wedding shower invite - all for the same weekend - crazy. Makes me think I should possibly start settling down lol (nah not yet)
Soula or should I say Clover sent me a photo in the post today (I absolutely love receiving snail mail that isnt bills - no body sends enough old fashion letters and cards these days - sad really - yes that is a hint people, only a week to go to my birthday, you better get your cards in the post NOW) Clover is Soulas Tiger, mine is Burnie. Burnie and Clover are lovers and so it was a love letter about spooning. Long story short, Tegan, a good friend gave all her friends a Tasmanian Tiger teddy bear with her wedding invites, they are all friends and have their own group on facebook about their adventures … ok so clearly I am not ready to grow up yet …
Anyway must get my beauty sleep, night night … x

wtf is a wedding shower? Sounds like a big scam for more presents. I think I will have a birthday shower next year. The description of your meal made me hungry, I think i will have to take you to tetsuya’s for your birthday…

Daz, you should see the invite. It requests that we bring a present which has meaning to the bride and the guest and then stand up and talk about its significance - I have no idea what to get
